Resizing Embedded Glogster Pages
November 3rd, 2008 by mrstetupu
Okay, so my kids love using glogster. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a web 2.0 tool that people use to create posters and my students use it any opportunity they can get. Recently we did some work about Cook Island celebrations and some of my students decided to present their findings using Glogster. Obviously I wanted to put them onto our classroom blog, but when I embedded the poster it was too large on the page. So here is a little trick I learnt to resize it:
When you paste the embed code it looks like this:
<iframe src=”http://www.glogster.com/glog.php?glog_id=1118726&scale=100″ width=”960″ height=”1300″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” marginheight=”0″ marginwidth=”0″ style=”overflow: hidden;”></iframe>
This came out as way to large, so I adjusted the height=”1300″ and width=”960″ to get something that fit in the space I had, so the embed code ended up looking like this:
So that was my exciting little trick I learnt this week! Woo hoo!!
