Am I really ready for this?

Okay, so I took a deep breath, text the ever patient heymilly for advice, then clicked on a few simple buttons to create this blog.  And why the fear???  Quite simply, accountability.  With the busyness of everything going on did I really have time to do this and do it well?  And for what reason was I creating this blog anyway?  And what if I did a bad job of it and I was the teacher with the sucky blog….. what if, what if, what if????

Luckily I know a lot of good teachers who give good advice.  I realised that in order to be an effective teacher I needed a place for reflection, to ask for advice, and help…. and hopefully somewhere along the way be able to help somebody else!!!!  I love the fact that you can have a huge network of support from all over the world, and I guess if I am going to really prepare my students for what’s ahead I have to poke my head out and check it out for myself.

So please be kind…. I’m sure I will be asking for help and harassing you with questions, so I’m thanking you in advance!
